1. Printing

Need help with printing? Follow our tips below.


Take a look here first and you may be able to avoid having to read the troubleshooting section below.

    Adobe PDF Documents
  • Instead of printing from the web browser, download the form to the computer first.
    1. Right-click document link
    2. Click "Save Link As"
    3. Save document to Desktop
    - OR -
    1. Click link to open in browser
    2. Use the Adobe plugin Save feature to save to Desktop
  • For scanned documents, try Adobe's "Print As Image" feature:
    1. Choose File > Print, then click Advanced
    2. Select "Print As Image".
    3. Click OK to close the Advanced Print Setup dialog box, and then click OK to print.


Problem:  Document is black.
Solution:  Document has been scanned. Many scanners will create an image of the document and insert the image into a PDF document. Use Adobe's "Print as Image" setting to print this type of document.

  • Use Adobe's "Print as Image" setting to print this type of document.
    1. Choose File > Print, then click Advanced
    2. Select "Print As Image".
    3. Click OK to close the Advanced Print Setup dialog box, and then click OK to print.

Popups are blocked by default on our public computers. If you need to enable popups, read on:


  1. Click the menu icon at upper right. See screenshot below:
  2. Click "Options" or "Preferences"
  3. Click "Content"
  4. Uncheck "Block Pop-up Windows"

  • Select "Settings" from the menu.
  • Click "Show Advanced Settings" at bottom of page.
  • Under the "privacy" section, choose "Content Settings".
  • Scroll down to the Pop-ups section and select: Allow all sites to show pop-ups.
  • Click "Done".
