This Week @ the Library: Nov. 18-23

Come to the library this week for some holiday fun, makerspace and STEM activities or some crafty comraderie! As the days get colder or shorter, come of the light of your community library to find something for everyone — story times, arts and crafts, movies, games,  and more. And when you're finished, check out a new book or movie to take home with you.

  • Peshastin: Learn about Guatemala through stories and art, 4 p.m. Wednesday
  • Quincy: Make slime, 3:30 p.m. Wednesday; play the game Apples to Apples, 3:30 p.m. Friday
  • Republic: Makerspace with Buffy, 3 p.m. Monday
  • Royal City: STEM activities, 4 p.m. Monday
  • Waterville: Friday Fun for ages 6-12, 10 a.m. Friday; Clay with Dale, 1 p.m. Friday
  • Wenatchee: Chess Club for all ages and skill levels, 4 p.m. Monday; sensory-friendly story time, 3:30 p.m. Thursday
  • Winthrop: Make a stop-motion animation film, 3:45 p.m. Thursday

Just For Teens

  • Moses Lake: Manga Club, 6 p.m. Tuesday; Play Dungeons and Dragons, 1 p.m. Saturday
  • Republic: Play Dungeons and Dragons, 3 p.m. Tuesday and 2 p.m. Friday
  • Tonasket: Group writing session for National Novel Writing Month (for teens and adutls), noon Saturday

Adult Programs

  • Chelan: Lake Chelan Ukulele Circle, 1 p.m. Thursday; Adult Creative Arts Club, 5:30 p.m. Thursday
  • Curlew: Knitting group, 1 p.m. Thursday
  • Moses Lake: Get help with all kinds of technology, 9 a.m. Tuesday and 4:30 p.m. Thursday; adult sit and stitch, 4 p.m. Wednesday
  • Pateros: Bring your knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch project or needle art and work on it with a group of crafters, 11 a.m. Saturday
  • Republic: Adult arts and crafts, 10:30 a.m. Tuesday
  • Tonasket: Coloring hour for adults, 5:30 p.m. Tuesday; group writing session for National Novel Writing Month, noon Saturday
  • Wenatchee: Get help with all kinds of technology, 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
