Dan Gemeinhart is the author of five middle grade novels, most set in the Pacific Northwest. He was an elementary teacher-librarian in Wenatchee for 13 years, and now lives with his wife and three daughters in Cashmere.

Erik Brooks is the author/illustrator of many fine books for children including Totem Tale, If I were a Whale and the Washington State Book Award winning Polar Opposites.
