Online Summer Reading Program 2011

The Online SRP was a great success for our first year!  We had 186 participants who read a whopping 12,178 hours!  We had participation from all over the library district with representation from all but a couple of our 28 branch communities. We had all ages of participants although most were from 11-15 years of age.

The raffle prizes were provided by donations from the Wenatchee Downtown Rotary, the Friend’s of the Wenatchee Library, Academic Toolbox and A Book for All Seasons.  Thank you to all of these groups who supported our kids’ reading efforts this summer. The prizes given out were:  two games, two bookstore gift certificates, over 18 books and two grand prize winners each winning a Barnes & Noble Nook ereader.  Look for the Online Summer Reading Program next summer for even more great links, book reviews and prizes!

What was your or your child’s favorite book this summer?  The favorite at our house was The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey by Trenton Lee Stewart.  If you like kids with very special talents who are put into impossible situations you will love The Mysterious Benedict Society Series.  We can’t wait for book number three!

Counter-rotating propellers expel rotational losses, produce no side forces and minimise cavitations.

I believe what you posted made a ton of sense. However,
what about this? what if you were to create a awesome headline?
I ain't suggesting your content is not good, however suppose you added a post title that makes people want more? I mean NCRL Online Summer Reading Program is kinda plain. You could look at Yahoo's home page
and watch how they create article headlines to get people to open the links.
You might add a video or a related pic or two to grab readers excited about everything've written. Just my opinion, it might bring your website a little bit more interesting.

a litte more on this topic? I'd be very thankful if you could elaborate a little bit more. Thanks!
